This page contains an outline of the handling procedures adopted by this website with regards to the processing of personal data collected from the site’s users.
 
This is the information note supplied in accordance with art. 13 of legislative decree n. 196/2003 – of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code to those who interact with our corporate website services, said services being accessible by computerised means at the following address:

This information note draws on Recommendation n. 2/2001 issued by the European personal data protection authorities comprising the group established by art. 29 of Directive n. 95/46/CE, adopted on 17th May 2001, whose purpose is to identify certain minimum requirements for the on-line collection of personal data, and, in particular, the procedures used, the terms and the nature of the information with which the data controllers must provide the user when the latter logs onto their web pages, regardless of the reasons for logging on.

Following a user’s access to this site, data may be processed relating to identified or identifiable persons.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing connected to web services offered in this site takes place in the aforesaid head office and is dealt with technical staff members from the department assigned to the data processing, or by any persons assigned thereto for the purpose of occasional maintenance operations.
 
No data derived from the web service is communicated to third parties or disseminated.
 
The personal data supplied by users who submit requests to receive material of an informative nature (bulletins, CD-ROMs, catalogues, pricelists, replies to enquiries, miscellaneous documents, etc.) are used solely for the purpose of providing the service requested.
 
TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
Traffic data
The computer systems and software procedures on which this website operates web automatically acquire certain personal data during standard operation, the transmission of said information being implicitly involved in Internet communication protocols.
The information in question is not collected in order to be linked with certain identified parties, but by its very nature, said information could, by means of processing and association with data held by third parties, enable the users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users when they log on to the site, Uniform Resource Identifiers of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method utilised to submit the request to the server, the sizes of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the response status given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operative system and the user’s computer environment.
 
This data is utilised for statistical purposes only, to gain anonymous information on the site’s users and to monitor its correct operation. The information obtained is erased after 1 year. The data could be utilised to establish liabilities in the event of computer-based offences against the site.
 
Data supplied voluntarily by the user
Any emails sent optionally, explicitly and voluntarily to the addresses found herein entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address (required to reply to enquiries), in addition to any other personal data supplied in the message.
Specific informative summaries will gradually be posted or displayed in the website pages provided for particular services available on request.
 
COOKIES
None of the users’ personal data is intentionally acquired by the site.
No cookies are used to transmit personal information, nor are any so-called said ‘persistent cookies’ , i.e. user tracking systems, of any kind utilised.
 
The use of what is known as ‘session cookies’ (those which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and which disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification data (comprised of a random series of numbers generated by the server), which is required in order for the user to explore the site safely and efficiently.
 
The so-called ‘session cookies’ utilised in this site prevent the need for other computer techniques to be employed which could be potentially detrimental to the users’ confidentiality during navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal user identification data.
 
VOLUNTARY NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
With the exception of the information specified above regarding traffic data, the user is free to choose whether or not to provide their personal data.
Obviously, failure to provide the data may lead to an inability on the part of the company to provide whatever has been requested.
 
PROCESSING METHODS
The personal data is processed both with electronic and automated instruments, and in paper format, for the time strictly required to attain the purposes for which it has been collected.
 
Specific safety measures are adopted to prevent the loss of data or the unlawful or improper use thereof, in addition to unauthorised accesses.
 
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The subjects to which the personal data refers have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exists, at any time and free of charge, likewise the said subjects are entitled to know the contents and source of said data, and may check its accuracy or request it be integrated, updated, rectified or blocked (for full information, see art. 7 of legislative decree n. 196/2003 to which this refers).
 
In compliance with the aforesaid art. 7, data subjects may request the data processed be erased, rendered anonymous or totally blocked if the said data has been processed unlawfully, and, on legitimate grounds may object to the use thereof .
 
All such requests must be submitted to the Data Controller, i.e. Ramex S.r.l..
 
The present document constitutes the "Privacy Policy" of this site and shall be subject to periodic update.
